Public access to museums 

SDG 11, which stands for Sustainable Development Goal 11, focuses on making cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable. One of the key aspects of SDG 11 is ensuring public access to cultural and heritage sites, including museums. In the context of the Kingdom of Bahrain, efforts have been made to promote public access to museums and preserve the country's rich cultural heritage.

The Kingdom of Bahrain is known for its rich history and cultural heritage, spanning thousands of years. It is home to numerous archaeological sites, historical landmarks, and museums that showcase the country's ancient civilizations, traditions, and contemporary arts. Recognizing the importance of preserving and promoting this cultural heritage, the government of Bahrain has taken several initiatives to ensure public access to museums.

One prominent museum in Bahrain is the Bahrain National Museum, located in the capital city of Manama. The museum offers visitors a comprehensive journey through Bahrain's history, from its ancient civilizations to its modern development. The exhibits cover various aspects of Bahraini culture, including archaeology, traditional crafts, art, and natural history. The Bahrain National Museum serves as a hub for education, research, and cultural exchange, providing valuable insights into the country's heritage.

Furthermore, the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) plays a crucial role in preserving and promoting Bahrain's cultural heritage.
