ASU Sustainable Learning During Covid
The utilization of ASU E-Learning as an online platform for academic classes during the COVID-19 pandemic aligns with SDG 11 sustainable practice.
By implementing ASU E-Learning, the university prioritized the health and safety of the academic community and staff while sustaining the academic process. The online system allowed for the continuation of educational activities while minimizing the risk of COVID-19 transmission. This sustainable practice supported SDG 11’s objective of creating safe and resilient communities by adapting to the challenges posed by the pandemic.
Through the online tool, academic classes were conducted virtually, enabling teachers to deliver their lessons and students to actively engage in the learning process. This approach ensured the continuity of education and maintained the quality of instruction despite the physical limitations imposed by the pandemic. By leveraging technology to enable remote learning, the university demonstrated its commitment to inclusive education and sustainable practices.
ASU E-Learning facilitated effective communication and interaction between students and academic staff, allowing for the exchange of knowledge and the opportunity to ask questions. The tool also facilitated the administration of evaluations and tests, ensuring the evaluation process remained efficient and comprehensive.
