ASU, in its commitment to entrepreneurship development and fostering innovation, contributes to SDG 17's indicator of collaboration for SDG best practice. The university plays a significant role in society and Bahrain's economy by nurturing future entrepreneurs across various sectors, including manufacturing, agriculture, information technology, energy, retail, and services. This support aligns with Bahrain's commitment to achieving the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals and is in line with Bahrain's Vision 2030. ASU actively collaborates with its global partners on entrepreneurial development activities and knowledge transfer through workshops, lectures, and forums. Notable collaborations include recent activities with London Southbank University, such as workshops and the forum "Sharing Good Teaching Practice (Post Covid) Research and Enterprise Stream." ASU has also signed several Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with various institutions, reinforcing its dedication to entrepreneurship development activities. Partnerships with entities like Hope Ventures, University for Peace, LSBU, Flat6Labs, and Huawei Technologies Bahrain WLL further showcase ASU's commitment to collaboration for SDG best practice. Entrepreneurship and innovation are integral pillars of ASU's strategic plan, encompassing its vision, mission, and strategic objectives. The university actively promotes an entrepreneurial culture, encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship activities among its students. ASU empowers its graduates to become job creators rather than job seekers, emphasizing the importance of entrepreneurship in driving sustainable development. The university provides opportunities for students to engage in various activities and competitions at the local, regional, and international levels, with notable achievements such as winning "the Company for the Year 2019" in Injaz Bahrain and securing second place in the Arab Region.
