Assistance To Low-Carbon Innovation

The research project on reducing energy consumption through resources and materials in residential projects' design in Bahrain by Dr. Wael Abdelhameed, in collaboration with Eskan Bank, is an example of assistance to low-carbon innovation that contributes to Sustainable Development Goal 7 (SDG 7) - Affordable and Clean Energy. The project aims to promote energy-efficient design practices in residential projects to reduce energy consumption and support a low-carbon economy. The research project is currently under evaluation, with a paper titled "Economic Environmental Approach in Energy Consumption of Houses" highlighting the potential impact of this research on the development of energy-efficient housing projects. The collaboration with Eskan Bank on their housing projects demonstrates the practical application of the research and its potential to contribute to a low-carbon economy. Overall, the research project on reducing energy consumption through resources and materials in residential projects' design in Bahrain demonstrates ASU's commitment to assisting start-ups and promoting low-carbon innovation, contributing to SDG 7 and promoting environmental sustainability.
